Tuesday Feb 5, 2008 @ 7PM - Joint Board Meeting with the Batten Kill Watershed Alliance at the West
Mountain Inn, in West Arlington, VT. This meeting will feature a special presentation by Ken Cox
and Steve Roy on the Twin Rivers Farm Habitat Restoration Project, including preliminary trout
population numbers obtained in the 2007 electro-shocking of the first stretch of water 'restored'
in 2006. Don't miss this presentation.

(Jan 2007) Meeting agenda:
- Crafting an annual plan for the chapter
- Establishing priorities
- Setting a strategy and formulating committees to distribute the workload
and allow individuals to pick and choose the areas that they would like to
get involved with and focus on.Ê
Committee ideas we've been tossing back and forth are:
- programming -- speakers for general chapter meetings
- social events -- fish-ins to regional spots, etc, summer cook-out
- fund-raising -- pancake breakfast, annual banquet, BBQ, raffles, etc
- grant-writing - big money fund-raising
- communications - newsletter/website & possibly advertising/marketing
- education - trout in the classroom, boy-scouts, etc; fly-tying/fly-casting lessons, etc.
- conservation
- individual river/stream committees -- and/or "river keepers"
- finance/legal

The executive board met on 3/30/2006 at the AMFF,
primarily to discuss our readiness for several upcoming projects. Several
other agenda items were also discussed. The complete minutes from this meeting
